Part Time Leasing & Resident Services Specialist

We are seeking a part-time (up to 30 hours/week) Leasing & Resident Services Specialistto join our awesome team here at Fairlawn! The Leasing & Resident Services Specialist will be accountable for cultivating relationships with prospects and ultimately finding them the best home, while providing top-notch customer service. What will you do?

• Be an ambassador of the Fairlawn brand
• Match prospective residents with their perfect home – this means being well-versed with our properties and amenities
• Assist Leasing and Property Managers with the lease renewal process
• Provide exceptional customer service and support through multiple communication channels (phone, email, text)
• Process maintenance requests, prepare for move-ins and move-outs, maintain resident files
• Learn and ensure compliance with all Fair Housing Laws including local, state, and federal housing regulations (We provide training)
• Pivot, roll up your sleeves, and jump in where needed!

Who you are - We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have previous customer service experience
• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Are proficient with relevant technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, AppFolio, Outlook) and can easily adapt to changing technology
• Have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate superior attention to detail, high energy, and positive attitude
• Have the ability to work overtime as needed during high-demand times and capacity shortages

Some additional things you will need:

• A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle. Limited in-town usage of personal vehicle for errands, any out-of-county personal mileage reimbursed at the Federal rate
• Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday)
• Availability to work longer hours and weekends during prime leasing season and turnover (specific dates vary from year to year)
• To be able to complete the physical functions of the position (including lifting requirements if any)
