Summary:
The Part-time Audio/Visual (AV) Technician reports to the IT Department and is responsible for operating and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment used to conduct rehearsals and events in the center for dance building. Such as subwoofers, audio amplifiers, speakers, TVs, video monitors, and cameras. They are also responsible for conducting quality control analyses, engaging with our company and Academy staff, and overall assistance of the Production and IT team in day-to-day projects.
This is an hourly position and the pay is $20 per hour.
The work is for Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Outside hours may be required during special events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily Check-in with IT team
- Set Up Audiovisual Equipment
- Daily maintenance Company & Academy Studios
- Daily maintenance on Conference rooms and Dance Lab
- Daily maintenance on Lobby and other Displays in the building
- Assisting IT team with Scheduling service
- Support IT with live streaming (Dance Talks, events).
- Communications about current technology
- Training & Documentation
- Meetings
- Checking & testing connectivity in studios, Dance Lab, Conference Rooms
- IT /AV Ticket resolutions.
- Other AV/Audio support as needed.
Experience with:
- iPad of all generations, required
- Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zoom, video casting, required
