We are looking for a Warehouse Lighting Technician IIto work out of our Dallas Branch in Irving, TX.
This position would be to assist our warehouse lead in pulling, returning, and quality control of all Lighting inventory for each event. We will train you to have a full understanding of our database R2. You will have a set schedule but must be flexible with it. Occasionally, in the busy season, we work weekends, and overtime will be available. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. You will be assisting in the loading/unloading of semi trucks with our gear to be shipped/returned to/from our events. Some Audio experience is preferred, but willing to train for your hard work.
Job Summary for the Warehouse Lighting Technician II
This role will pull lighting/rigging equipment, as well as have the opportunity to set up, break down, and operation of small to large lighting systems for live events. This role will have the opportunity to travel to show sites in addition to working in the Branch warehouse.
Summary of essential job functions for the Warehouse Lighting Technician II
- Equipment Operation/Maintenance
- Lighting fixture setup and focus, electrical and dimmer controls, lighting console programming and operation.
- Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment
- Strong computer skills – CAD or Vector Works a plus
- General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge
- Pull equipment, load in, set up, Operate, take down, load out & shop duties
- Warehouse & equipment Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
Skills and Specifications
- Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients both internal and external.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
