As a Floating Teacher we need someone who can:
- Work with a range of age aground (infants, toddlers, 2's, 3's, and 4 year olds!)
- Ensure the well-being and development of infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children
- Support progressive/inquiry-based learning
- Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
- Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols
We are looking for 2 specific part-time schedules: a 8am-1pm and a 1pm-6pm for Monday-Friday
Role Responsibilities:
- Overall classroom management: leading/creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can play and learn.
- Serve as a role model to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their childrens latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Build relationships with families and coworkers to create an inviting environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Minimum Qualifications Needed:
- At least 3 years of experience working in childcare
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
