This position will have varied and flexible hours and the hours of operation are:
Monday through Saturday: 30 hours or less/week
Specific Duties:

• Handle in-coming phone calls providing information related to our products and services.
• Determine customer's storage and/or truck rental needs, complete all required rental agreements and paperwork following company policies and procedures
• Daily storage facility walkthrough
• Increase sales by converting opportunities to rentals and upselling
• Audit cash drawers and bank deposits daily
• Make Collection Calls to tenants daily
• Communicate with customers in a prompt, friendly and effective manner
• Provide facility tours to prospective customers while selling/promoting products and services
• Keep public spaces and storage areas clean; including office, restrooms, sweeping, mopping, debris removal, wiping windows, doors, elevators, minor janitorial tasks, snow removal as needed
• Comfortable driving, checking in/out, and cleaning U-Haul trucks (20' Maximum) in all seasons
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends as needed; have a valid driver's license
• Minimum of a high school diploma (some college preferred)
• Prior Self Storage experience a plus
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Type minimum 35 wpm correctly
• Sales/Customer Service Experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and willing-to-learn attitude
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple customers at once
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently
