Pet Butler LLC, a Spring-Green Enterprise company, is seeking a part-time Seasonal Call Center Representative for our Plainfield location to assist with our busy Spring season for at least three months. Part-time hours include 20-29 hours per week. Flexible shifts fall between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Under the direction of the Assistant Manager and input from the Sr. Call Center Professional: The seasonal Call Center Representative performs inbound and outbound Call Center functions, answering service questions, qualifying leads, and selling a variety of pet services over the telephone. Other duties include, but are not limited to, customer follow-up, data entry of survey results, communication with field technicians, resolving customer service problems and fee reconciliation issues, and account collections. The Seasonal Call Center Representative is the subject matter expert for ARF, Precise Pet Care Software, PoopNet, Pet Care services, and other Call Center tools, products, and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides customer service to our customer market by answering incoming pet care and service/sales calls, emails, and click-to-chat web-based submissions. Directing and assisting customers as needed with additional sales, services, and pet care information.
- Performs outbound sales calls by thoroughly explaining available and recommended services in response to marketing efforts.
- Explains Pet Butler services, quotes price and uses selling techniques to encourage customers to buy.
- Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems to appropriate party for resolution.
- As assigned, assist with administrative responsibilities, including processing updates to customer data, credit card payments, and handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Performs data entry maintenance activities associated with maintaining customer demographic information, processing credit card payment information, and documenting customer conversations.
- Collects information for Commercial Properties for FP Quote.
- Assists the Franchise Development Department as requested with inbound and outbound call activity for business-to-business lead generation and follow-up efforts.
- Regular and predictable on-site or online attendance is required for interaction with current and potential customers, franchise owners, potential business partners, and other internal personnel, as well as access to pertinent data, computer, and phone systems.
- Required to work a flexible schedule, which may include overtime, Saturdays, and weekday evening hours.
- As assigned, complete additional tasks and projects on time as directed.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum two to three years of sales and customer service/Call Center experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pet Care and/or pet services related experience preferred.
- Minimum typing skills 45 WPM.
