Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Part Time Burn Research Specialist you will use your impeccable research, documentation and coordination skills to assist with the creation of publications for America Burn Association certification for the hospital. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who is just as excited about ensuring that we are offering certified burn services to our community.

In this role:

• Assist in writing and editing abstracts, manuscripts and case reports; including necessary literature searches, bibliography preparation, and reference verification.
• Work with participating physicians to develop and write research protocol.
• Assist in consent document collection to support research endeavors.
• Coordinate all aspects of submission of written materials for research publication.
• Prepare annual research reports for EIRMC admin and participates in center meetings as required.
• Act as a resource to other coordinators involved in burn and reconstructive research, assisting with regulatory and audit requirement as requested by supervisor(s).

What qualifications you will need:

• Current or past experience in coordinating clinical trials and database management/design (preferred)
• Good writing skills and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with clinical professionals
