The full salary range is: $39,046-$55,227. The expected hiring range is $39,046-$40,608 depending on qualifications, with an excellent benefits package. Work Schedule:Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday between 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or as needed. Flexible shifts could occur based on staffing and/or operational needs.
Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
This person is responsible for the supervision of full-time and part-time staff with the Transportation's Parking Operations Section. Work hours for this position are an 8-hour workday between 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or as needed. As a supervisor, this position is responsible for making sure all hours of the deck operations are covered and any other duties as assigned. This employee will operate a fee computer (cash register), collect parking fees, and make correct change. This employee will be responsible for renting parking spaces in the parking deck and city-owned surface lots. They will be responsible for all monies used for daily operations and will balance funds collected for tickets issued, prepare daily work records, prepare bank deposits, and assist with other operations as needed. This position is responsible for janitorial duties, which include cleaning the elevators, stair landings, lobby areas, office areas, restrooms, and the overall appearance of the facilities. This position will also be trained and responsible for understanding the operations of all deck equipment and how to troubleshoot any problems, which include ticket spitters, gate equipment, cash registers, etc. This position must have good public relations and customer service skills due to daily interaction with the public. The position will oversee all paperwork, monthly billings, new sign-ups, parking cancellations, daily and monthly reports. The position must be able to communicate effectively orally and in written format with customers, handle customer complaints, and provide follow-up with inquiries. The job involves stooping, bending, and extensive walking. This position will also be responsible for the pre-treatment of parking decks and lots as well as snow removal during inclement weather and any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D with 1-3 years of customer service experience
- "OR" No High School Diploma/GED with 5-7 customer service experience
- Valid Driver's License
- 2+ years of cashier experience
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in parking deck/lot operations
- Experience working with computers (i.e. data entry, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Work Order System
- 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience
- Supervisory experience
