High School Diploma or GED equivalent, desired Associates or Bachelors in related field.
Job Description:
Perform under stressful situations fire prevention, fire suppression, hazardous material incident response and emergency medical rescue. Provide Advanced Life Support medical assistance duties to protect life and property.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: Firefighter/HazMat Operations, BLS, NREMT Paramedic or State Paramedic. NREMR Certification, with Personnel Protective Equipment, and Production Control First Aid Provider, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Minimum 3 years of experience. Possess Interpersonal skills to work in teams and coordinate with others to handle emergency situations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Respond to medical emergencies for all AAAF controlled areas/facilities is support of U.S. Military, Civilians, and support Contractors.
- Assess emergency and resources available immediately determine triage plan to treat most serious injuries first.
- Evaluate the patient’s condition on the scene and perform preliminary diagnosis and treatment.
- Coordinate with medical director, NP or PAs for additional medical advice.
- Provide advanced notification for preparing medical facilities to service incoming patients.
- Operate basic firefighting equipment and emergency medical transport such as ambulances.
- Follow procedures and perform all reporting requirements.
- Leading and or participant in team responding to an emergency.
- Drives ambulance equipment in response to radio transmissions.
- Use a variety of medical and special protective gear in situations where poisonous gases, radioactive materials, and hazardous biological products are involved.
- Performs daily PM inspection of vehicles and equipment, and ensures all equipment is in operable condition.
- Participate in emergency medical/fire drills as scheduled.
- Attend training as required.
- Perform additional related responsibilities as required.

Personal Protection Requirements:

$60 K+ yearly

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
