Job Description
Personal Injury Law Firm seeking a Paralegal with experience handling Property Damage and Diminished Value cases.
Full Time: Monday - Friday (In the Office / Not Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with new and existing clients on potential and pending claims
- Interview new clients and conduct new case intake
- Conduct legal research
- Gather and organize relevant claim records
- Maintain professional interaction with clients, attorneys, appraisers, insurance adjustors, etc.
- Prepare and serve pre-suit demand packages for pending claims
- Negotiate settlements on pending claims
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, discovery, motions, and subpoenas;
- Conduct electronic filing of court documents
- Meet/beat deadlines and maintain calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, mediation, etc.
- Train and supervise Legal Assistants
- Additional duties as assigned
- Real Estate and Banking services including Title, Escrow, Mortgage, REO/Foreclosure, Banking, and Credit Union
- Professional Staffing including Finance, Accounting, Clerical, Administrative, Education, HR, and Legal
- Technical Staffing including Engineering, Information Technology, and Scientific
