Paralegal - Motor vehicle Licensing & General

For the right person this role could be located in Michigan if you are willing to travel occasionally to Brookfield , WI Headquarters Facility when necessary.

Reporting to a Senior Corporate Counsel, the Paralegal will serve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on the Corporate Legal team. This role would assist with all aspects of the legal function with a particular focus on supporting REV Group and its subsidiaries with the administration of state-issued licenses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file business unit Motor Vehicle manufacturing and other licensing and registration documents, with support from business units.
• Administer the company's business licenses, including coordinating and tracking licensing and registration requirements and due dates.
• Work with licensing authorities and business units to ensure compliance with business license and other laws.
• Assist lawyers and other members of the legal department in all aspects of the legal function, including corporate, commercial, regulatory, compliance, litigation and intellectual property.
• Help administer legal department systems, including its contract management, matter management, billing and compliance systems.
• Assist in the administration of the legal department, and provide administrative support to in-house attorneys.
• Assist with general corporate matters and other special projects or tasks on an as-needed basis.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college/university preferred. 
• Associate's degree or certificate program in paralegal studies.
• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate or law firm setting.
• Motor vehicle licensing experience preferred.
• Relevant computer software experience such as MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Power Point and legal management systems.
