Paralegal Legal Assistant

McMurray PA law firm seeking a Real Estate and Oil and Gas Paralegal / Legal Assistant. We are seeking a detail oriented paralegal with 2+ years experience in a small to mid-sized law firm. Paralegal should specialize and have knowledge of Real Estate and Oil and Gas. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Creative thinker, strong work ethic, detailed
• Open, organize, and maintain Real Estate Closing Files
• Conduct legal research for legal issues
• Manage lifecycle of active matters / cases and monitoring progress
• Review Oil and Gas / Real Estate Title Abstracts
• Understanding of Billing Software
• Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of Real Estate and Oil and Gas experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Practical experience with Bookkeeper software - QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong written and oral skills
• Ability to analyze, review, and make suggestions
• Experience with Clio Legal Software a plus
• Experience as a Title Abstractor a plus
• Pay $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 depending on experience plus bonus opportunity
