Our super nice and very professional Family Law Firm Client is looking for a Sr. Family Law Paralegal for its busy new Fort Worth office. This awesome Law Firm is one of the largest Family Firms in Texas and has an excellent track record. Paralegal must have experience with trial prep and trial attendance.

Position is hybrid – 3 days at home, 2 days in office
Hybrid Sr. Family Law Paralegal Role
The right candidate must have 5+ years of Texas Family Law experience along with attention to detail, strong organizational and drafting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. This position will support 2 very busy partners.
Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and court orders for review, approval, and use by attorneys.
Correspond with clients and prepare spreadsheets and documents for Inventory and Appraisement and Proposed Support Decision.
File pleadings with court clerks.
Coordinate delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action.
Conduct intake calls with potential new clients and prepare attorneys for initial consultation
Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
Assist attorneys in analyzing and resolving recurring problems that arise in Family Law cases.
Draft discovery requests, calendar relevant due dates, and prepare correspondence to opposing counsel and/or opposing parties.
Assist clients to comply with discovery requests and compile requested documents.
Hybrid Sr. Family Law Paralegal Background
Undergraduate degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
5+ years of Texas Family Law experience
Paralegal must have trial prep and trial attendance
Solid understanding of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with superior attention to detail
Excellent prioritization, problem solving and time management skills
Ability to learn and utilize new software, technology and techniques as needed to meet the changing demands of the legal marketplace
Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
Previous experience with Sharefile or related software
Excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, knowledgeable with Excel, and Outlook.
Looking for a self-motivated candidate who is eager to work with demanding deadlines
Candidate must be an excellent proofreader
