Responsibilities Specific to Front Desk Agent
Possess and live Pala Mesa Resort core values.
Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor.
Makes and confirms reservations.
Perform all guest check-in and check-out procedures.
Obtains or confirms guest information, assign rooms, activates, and distributes keys.
Answers phones and assists the caller with reservations.
Provides local information on restaurants, special sites, activities to enhance their visit.
Resolves customer complaints and problems calmly and effectively.
Takes and delivers messages for guests.
Maintains a friendly, personable disposition.
Performs various clerical tasks as needed (sorting mail, paper filing, etc.).
Other duties as assigned.
Expectations of the Front Desk Agent
Create and foster an environment of "teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
Be comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks, stockings and shoes.
Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.
Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
Keep eye out for attention to detail.
Adhere to Pala Mesa policies and procedures.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
