Pain Management Physician - Sacramento, CA
Part-time 1-day per week
Compensation: $190 to $210 per hour
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Pain Management Physician for a reputable client in the Sacramento, CA, area. The ideal Physician must have experience in Pain Management and experience in handling complicated patients with high MME and or polypharmacy issues.

The job is for a client, and that job is located in Sacramento. The Pain Management physician identifies diseases, plans treatments, and gives patients ongoing pain care. The Pain Management Physician must have experience as a Pain Management Physician.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality Pain Management to patients and their families.
Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Four years of experience as a Pain Management Physician
Pain Management internship and residency
Board Certification is highly preferred
Passed the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
Licensed to practice in California
Active DEA license
Active BLS Certification
Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred
Willing and able to precept medical students
Willing and able to supervise mid-level providers
Able to work in Sacramento
