Job Description Summary
We are looking for an Operations Manager who shares our exciting vision of supporting and empowering patients through excellent care and an exciting alchemy of traditional medical expertise, technology, connectivity and care redesign.
The Operations Manager will apply their business and technology acumen, problem solving finesse, relationship management, customer diplomacy, program coordination, and solution delivery in their day-to-day operations leadership and service improvement

Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Managed the day-to-day operations and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of virtual care services across all clinical services.
2. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and protocols for each clinical service to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
3. Collaborate with clinical leads and staff to develop, monitor, and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of care delivery.
4. Partner in the onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of clinical staff, ensuring they stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaborate with the Technologies team to optimize the use of telemedicine and digital health technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows.
6. Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure all clinical services adhere to relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and guidelines.
7. Facilitate communication and collaboration across the Ovatient clinical team and at Ovatient customers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and interdisciplinary care.
8. Monitor patient satisfaction and address concerns, implementing process improvements as necessary to enhance the patient experience.
9. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for clinical operations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while maintaining high-quality care.
10. Create and maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, fosters employee engagement, and supports staff retention.
11. Collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to accomplish high-priority initiatives through the rapid response to new and challenging opportunities.
12. Partners with product delivery in the formulation of project scope, objectives, benefits, constraints, assumptions, risks, and costs.
13. Develops work plans and schedules, including requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources, project milestones, and review points.
14. Applies critical systems thinking and effectively collaborating across strategy, finance, informatics, clinical operations, and information technology functional areas to evaluate business objectives, identify alternative solutions, consider feasibility, and develop business cases.
15. Participates collaboratively in strategic planning processes by drafting/presenting proposals for new and/or revised strategic policies, programs, and/or operating procedures.
16. Displays sensitivity to and understanding of various cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Additional Job Description
Qualifications: Required
1. Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, human resources or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
2. Three to five years operations experience which includes program planning, financial and productivity analysis, physician billing, and reimbursement and reporting systems.
3. 3 years progressively responsible professional experience working on IT, business, and strategy projects.
4. Demonstrated experience with health care applications, including Epic electronic medical records.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and process mapping software (e.g. Visio).
6. Must possess critical thinking, analytical and strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to problem solve with minimal guidance and bias for action in a fast-paced, high-growth, and cross-functional environment.
8. Ability to drive projects forward in an environment that could lean ambiguous.
9. Manage vendor relationships, as necessary.
10. Experience facilitating cross functional teams.
11. Ability to multi-task.
12. Comfort working on a fully remote team.
13. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
14. Be an exceptional team member: Low ego, hard-working, coaching-mindset, and partnership-oriented.
Preferred
1. Master's degree in a business-related field.
2. Agile Project Management or equivalent certification.
3. Experience in a healthcare start-up.
4. Knowledge of financial/managerial accounting and activity-based costing.
5. Working knowledge of healthcare data and interrelated nature of coding nomenclatures (e.g. DRG's, CPT's, etc.).
6. Have worked in digital health.
7. Have worked in or directly partnered with hospital systems to build, implement, or partner on digital health innovation or virtual care projects.
8. Have experience in an early-stage, high-growth company or in a corporate/health care innovation group.
9. Clinical experience is a plus.
