Job Description
PB Hoidale Company is seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Outside Sales Representative will work closely with an existing Sales Representative during the first year. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in the petroleum equipment industry. The primary responsibility of the Outside Sales Representative is to learn from the industry, assist in lead follow up, sales calls, and customer relationship building.
Responsibilities:
During First Year:
- Collaborate and learn about the products, services, and industry standards.
- Assist in prospecting, lead generation, and building client relationships.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Learn to effectively communicate the value propositions of our products and services to potential clients.
- Assist in the preparation and scoping of quotes.
- Shadow the existing Sales Representative during sales calls to gain firsthand experience in processes, negotiations and deal closing.
- Understand and navigate the sales process from prospecting to post-sale follow-up.
After First Year:
- Independently manage your own sales territory, including identifying and tracking leads.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings autonomously.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Utilize CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Generate accurate sales forecasts and reports on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with the installation and service teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within our industry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within your designated sales territory.
**Requirements: **
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Background check, physical and drug screen required
- Pre-employment testing required
- High School diploma or GED required

This is a full-time position. Base salary $55k-$60k
