Outside Sales Representative II - California and Southwest United States

As an Outside Sales Representative II you are responsible for selling precast CXT buildings, fielding questions, and resolving customer complaints in a specified geographic territory. This includes developing new accounts and interacting with existing customers to increase sales to meet or exceed the annual operating plan. Prepare and give sales presentations, submit orders, and submit activity and reports results to Supervisor.
Responsibilities

1. Generate sales revenue between $2.5M to $5M annually while building long term relationships with new and existing accounts.
2. Coordinate customer relationships from initial prospecting through entire sales process.
3. Create strategies using market information and customer feedback to advance corporate business objectives.
4. Respond to customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
5. Negotiate and close terms of sale.
6. Establish and maintain CXT building product visibility within the engineering community.
7. Effectively communicate with all internal customers, specifically Project Managers, Engineering and Finance.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education & License Requirements / Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred; will consider equivalent years' experience.
• 3+ years of sales experience meeting target in a construction or precast related field
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel up to 50% or as required by manager.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient math skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills
• Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system
