Job Description
This position is for a Sales Engineer working on a commission basis. Customers for this role will include industrial customers, including Oil & Gas, Chemical, Engineering Firms, Green Energy, and other markets. The equipment which is supplied incudes heat transfer equipment, specifically heat exchangers, fired heaters, waste heat recovery units, pumps, scrubbers, and other process equipment and packages. GCES sales is done at a high technical level, so knowledge of the above equipment and application is desired, but these subjects can also be trained by internal training or training at manufacturer locations.
Travel is required, but limited. The region of sales is Texas, with each sales person having a specific territory. Much of the territory is local to the Houston area, so overnight travel for these customers is not required. Overnight travel could be required for remote customers and manufacturer trips.
This is a commission based position, so pay is ultimately limited only by market and sales person efforts.
