OneMarket Recruiting is leading the search for a Front End Engineer at a very exciting Private Equity stealth-mode startup.

This Technical Lead position is designed to drive technical decisions while working closely with local cross-functional peers. Your focus will be on understanding project intricacies, requirements, and technology needs and constraints, and you'll play a key role in supporting the development of larger features through collaboration with our international team (e.g. reviewing code, quality, architecture, etc.), while contributing directly to architecture/code/strategic projects locally.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the design and architecture of the front-end systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for the Front End of the product, following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, translating design mockups into functional web pages.
• Contribute to the selection of front-end technologies and tools that align with the product's goals and long-term vision.
• Work closely with back-End Engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the front-end code, ensuring optimal loading times and responsiveness.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure a consistent and effective user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated testing, integration, and deployment of front-end code.
• Contribute to scalability planning, anticipating and addressing potential challenges as the product grows and evolves.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for front-end systems, ensuring knowledge transfer and team efficiency.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and design to create the best possible customer experiences.

What you’ll have:

• 8+ years of experience in a front-End Engineering role
• Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production.
• Extensive proficiency in React, with a proven track record of delivering sophisticated and intuitive front-end solutions.
• Significant expertise in Next.js, showcasing a depth of experience in building scalable and performant front-end applications.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating testing processes, and ensuring efficient software delivery.
• Experience within a startup is advantageous, or demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to take on various roles and responsibilities as needed in a dynamic environment.
• A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects.
