We are seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to join our team! The successful candidate will interact with potential clients in our retail showrooms, assist with selection of materials for projects, provide in-home consultations and work with our associates to prepare and complete contracts, schedule installation and provide after sales follow up.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Qualified leads and appointments will be provided
- Contact potential clients to qualify and determine the project scope
- Company shop at home vehicle and samples provided for consultations
- Assist with product selection to meet our clients design requests
- Provide in-home consultation and estimation for selected products
- Prepare and complete contracts for products/services
- Assist in scheduling installation services
- Provide after sales follow up to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in on-going company and industry training to increase product knowledge
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Floor Covering or Home Improvement experience in sales and/or estimation is a plus but is not required
- Ability to interact with clients in a timely fashion and provide exceptional client service
- Detail-oriented and motivated to succeed
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal/listening)
- Must be punctual and responsible
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word and Excel
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License and clean DMV driving record
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous sales experience
- Ability to lift/carry samples up to 10lbs.
Preferred:
- Floor Covering or Interior Design experience
- Bilingual
