Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Outside Machinists for projects located in and around the Newport News, VA area . This is an opportunity with all shifts available and the pay rate is up to $27.31/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Operate a lathe machine
Installation of various pieces of equipment, machines, and more
Requirements
Must be able to Pass a Background Check, Medical and Drug Screening
Minimum of 4+ Years of Commercial/Naval Experience as a First Class Machinist
Familiar with fasteners
Understanding of basic ship systems
Must be Open to Working all Shifts
Must hold US Citizenship to Meet Necessary Badging Requirements
Ability to Comprehend Complex Mechanical Drawings and Blueprints
