CNC Lathe Machinist Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate CNC turning machine centers, specifically Doosan with experience with single spindle, single turret machines. Experience with live tooling and bar feeders preferred.

· Perform MDI (Manual Data Input) programming for efficient part production.

· Conduct manual inspection using gauges and instruments to ensure part quality before submitting to the Quality Department for CMM inspection.

· Understand GD&T and interpret complex 2-D drawings.

· Monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process.

· Follow company quality and safety procedures.

· Communicate and collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues.

· Participate in Lean manufacturing events to improve processes.

CNC Lathe Machinist Qualifications/Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Must have 1 year of overall CNC machining experience.

· Familiarity with FANUC controls.

· Experience working with various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, and steel.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

· Experience with manual inspection using gauges and instruments in support of CMM inspection by the Quality Department.

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

· Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

· Capable of handling sensitive and sometimes confidential information.

· Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
