Make a difference in the community at our Venice Family Clinic as an Outreach and Engagement Supervisor. With guidance and direction from the Director of Common Ground, this position will manage and monitor all assigned HIV prevention contracts, manage data for all assigned programs, and participate in quality management meetings. Required: * At minimum two years of supervisor experience. * Experience in harm reduction services and de-escalation. * Extensive knowledge of HIV and other STIs, including HIV antibody testing, rapid syphilis and hepatitis C testing. * Knowledge of community resources for HIV, hepatitis C and sexually transmitted infections. * Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. * Excellent oral English skills to communicate effectively with people of diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. * Skill in database management, maintenance, queries, and data entry. * Ability to follow through on assignments, and to complete required program documentation and to keep accurate records. * General knowledge of health education, public health and medical terminology. * Ability to work independently and as part of a group, and skill in maintaining cooperative working relationships. * Ability to discuss sensitive matters in a non-judgmental manner and to respect confidentiality.
