Organizational Change Management Consultant
Location: Remote (California Preferred)
Salary: ($140k-$240k depending on experience)
Sabot consulting is seeking a Change Management Partner that will work collaboratively with staff resources to the project as needed in each phase, including Change Management Practitioner(s) with experience implementing system initiatives and technical writers, trainers, business analysts. The Change Management Partner will drive agendas and attend project, sponsor and Change Management meetings. The Change Management partner develops a custom strategy including, but not limited to, approaches to discovery, planning, feedback, and measures or Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure seamless implementation along with the identification of challenges and preparation of responses to better adapt and respond

Responsibilities:
- Prepare approach: define success, impacts and approach.
- Manage change: plan and act, track performance, adapt actions.
- Sustain outcomes: review performance, activate sustainment, transfer ownership.
- Training strategy and plans including Train-the-trainer development and delivery, and end user training development.
- Participation in project activities where current processes are reviewed to ensure an understanding of current processes, procedures, policies and MOUs.
- If the project does not have these activities included, partner shall flag this as a risk or provide an alternate process that accomplishes the same objectives.
- Participation in project design activities to ensure a detailed understanding of the new system/initiative.
- Lead discussions to identify and drive solutions for process and knowledge gaps between the as-is and to-be states.
- Ensure the implementation of the application and business process changes has minimum negative and maximum positive impact on the end-users’ ability to perform their work.
- Ensure business unit readiness.
- Collaborate to anticipate, prepare, and implement a Change Management plan, including communications, training, resistance management, etc.
- Develop and manage feedback mechanisms.
- Develop and implement sponsor and stakeholder analysis plans.
- Support adoption post go-live.
- Define and communicate roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure end-users understand the changes introduced by the new application/initiative, the benefits of those changes, and the processes that affect them.
- 5+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management services
- 5+ years of experience for any assigned change practitioners with PROSCI certification
- 3+ years of experience working with Public Sector or utility experience
- 1+ years of experience working with changes that include represented employees
- Experience leading a minimum of 3 Change Management projects for an enterprise-wide system install.
- Experience leading a minimum of 3 Change Management projects for an enterprise-wide cultural change.
- Experience leading a minimum of 3 Change Management projects influencing a diverse population of stakeholders, including C-Suite.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to develop right-sized approaches for real-time applications of change models and deliverables.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or other related field.
