The Internal Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an accurate, efficient, and data-driven preference card management system across multiple sites that ensure appropriate patient care and the use of organizational resources. The Internal Control Coordinator position supports the entire Perioperative Services division as it delivers patient care through the provision and management of capital, supplies, instrumentation, and technological support as well as human resources in collaboration with medical and para-medical staff to effectively manage patients undergoing elective, urgent, and emergent surgical intervention.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience with O.R. preference card maintenance
- 5 years of relevant Operating Room experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other healthcare profession, or a combination of comparable clinical education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing preferred, and/or experienced graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Two years of experience with Electronic Health Records, Epic preferred
- Materials Management experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to work overtime, on-call, and/or flexible hours as needed to meet committed project dates and support 24×7 operations.
- Sitting/standing for prolonged periods, in a close environment with others, with frequent bending, stooping, walking, climbing (ladder, steps), and reaching (including overhead).
- Physically able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Physically able to push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Physical strength to assist in moving, transferring, and/or lifting supplies and equipment.
- Must have the ability and fine motor dexterity to operate equipment, computers, keyboard, and mouse.
