Optometric Doctor Assistant

Seeking an outgoing, energetic, dependable, and reliable Optometric Doctor Assistant. Duties will include patient pre-testing and work-ups, understanding contact lenses, scribing and assisting the doctors as needed, checking patients in/out, verifying medical & vision benefits, front desk, and scheduling appointments. Bilingual and/or prior doctor assisting experience a plus. If you have experience in the following areas this might be an ideal position for you: ophthalmic technician, eye care, optometry, optical, receptionist, customer service, optician, teacher. Must be available at least 2 Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.

We are an established and growing private optometry practice located in The Woodlands, TX. Our practice is a modern clinic and optical facility equipped with advanced technology instrumentation. We offer a large variety of popular fashion brand and high end eyewear, in addition to the latest in ophthalmic lens technology.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 39 per week
