Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Operator Recruiting and Training Specialist to provide support to the Vice President and Sales Department by identifying candidates, gaining commitments, and developing and maintaining relationships with stand/store operators and managing Alamo Fireworks Incorporated (AFI) direct reports as required. All AFI locations are managed by independent contractors. One of the main components of our success is finding, training, and maintaining relationships with these operators to effectively operate our locations. This is a full-time position that manages people, data, and Training and reports directly to the Operator Recruiting and Training Manager.

- 2 extra week's pay for +12 months of service
- 4 extra week's pay for +30 months of service
- 6 extra week's pay for +60 months of service
We do work longer hours, including some weekends and nights before, during, and after our selling season. Our team is required to work heavier hours during the selling season including some weekends (primarily June/July & December/January). To compensate, we offer a 4-day work week for 6 months out of the year. Additionally, we offer an aggressive company holiday calendar that includes up to 13 paid days off per year plus vacation PTO.
Major Responsibilities
- Recruit quality operators to manage stands and stores by developing a pipeline of operators through multiple sources
- Develop and maintain a performance system that ranks operators and use it place them accordingly
- Manage and maintain relationships with operators; this includes periodic travel
- Develop training protocols on best practices and provide detailed training opportunities for operators
- Help to evolve world-class customer experience
- Develop and oversee inspection procedures for operator performance
- Oversee operator supervisors and ensure thorough and quality evaluations are being conducted

- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business
- 5 years sales and/or personnel recruiting, retail experience a plus
Compensation: $40,000 per year
