The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated operation Support Manager to our Constellation team in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. As an Operations Support Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist district managers with overseeing assigned facilities.
The Support Manager provides functional and operational expertise, with a focus on maintaining operational systems and standards for supporting and training managers in the region. Through partnering with regional, D&E and Enterprise leadership, the Support Manager will assess and implement systems, training, and standards to ensure the highest level of client and guest satisfaction, team member engagement and financial performance across operating units. The Support Manager provides supporting leadership and accepts accountability for the quality of operations, achievement of the company’s financial objectives and retention targets, and ensures continuous improvement in all areas of operational performance and discipline.
Compensation: $100,000 plus bonus
What you'll be doing:
- Actively supporting and applying all company and facility policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the highest quality of service to our customers and clients.
- Visiting assigned facilities as directed.
- Acting as the facility food service director in the event of FSD absences, staff shortages, etc.
- Offering guidance to managers in the disciplines of operations, finances, human resources, and client relationships.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Minimum 10 years hospitality operations management experience, preferably in a high volume, upscale catering, professional dining, restaurant, cultural attraction, hotel or resort environment.
- Superior leadership, management and analytical skills with a proven ability to deliver superior operational performance.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality management, business or related field Highly Preferred.
- This role has in-unit responsibilities and must be based in NY tri-state area with ability to travel.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role.
