We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager with a strong background in banking and finance to lead complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering intricate projects with tight deadlines, regulatory oversight, and a focus on risk and control. Experience within the payments space is highly desirable, as this role will involve managing initiatives related to payment systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-profile projects within the banking and finance domain. Drive cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while adhering to strict timelines and quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Work closely with compliance teams to navigate regulatory challenges and implement robust risk and control frameworks.
Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure project success.
Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, regulatory agencies, and industry partners. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to ensure alignment and support.
Financial Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and financials effectively to optimize project outcomes and deliver value to the organization. Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Continuous Improvement : Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the project management function. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and leverage best practices to drive project excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.
Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
Extensive experience in program management within the banking and finance industry, with a focus on delivering complex projects with regulatory oversight.
Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects within the payments space, including payment systems, processing, and services.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
