Responsibilities
As a senior position within CSA’s Management Team we find that the right level of experience is necessary as our clients are demanding and our projects need to stay on track especially since priorities can often change in our fast-paced environment. The following responsibilities are critical in successfully executing this doer/seller role:
- Accountable for maintaining and developing key accounts/programs within the environmental review arena in New York.
- Prepare proposals for new work.
- Manage a strong team of environmental professionals. Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate technical work for projects or tasks.
- Lead the environmental review unit in the achievement of Business Goals and Scorecard Metrics and Client’s satisfaction.
- Responsible to monitor and adjust project technical and financial progress.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in completing and managing projects and programs requiring compliance with the New York City Environmental Review procedures, the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA).
- Strong Project/Financial/Client Management experience.
- Extensive experience in completing environmental assessment and impact statements is required as well as working knowledge of all related technical areas and environmental permitting.
- Manage a team of environmental professionals in completing projects to client satisfaction.
- Successful track record in developing new business in this area.
