Operations Manager-Warehouse

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse and general operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow and quality control of materials in our shop, organizing daily activities, and leading a team to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety protocols and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the flow and quality control of materials being modified in the shop.
• Plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of materials.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse and shop staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain efficient inventory management processes to optimize space utilization and minimize carrying costs.
• Ensure timely replenishment of inventory to meet customer demand.
• Track inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate transportation and ensure on-time delivery of material to customers.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent discrepancies.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency within the warehouse.
• Manage facility maintenance to ensure the property, including the building, is clean and well-kept at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a warehouse manager or similar role, with a track record of successful leadership and operational management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency with Apple computers and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
