Description
This Operations Manager at Hilton Head Retreats, part of the VTrips family of brands, is responsible for the operational integrity of the office and supervising staff to ensure the highest level of service to guests and homeowners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures all office operations are executed and adhered to policy and procedure, including purchasing, inventory control, key control/management, employee relations, and client relations.
- Facilitates business relationships with property owners, vendors, and independent contractors.
- Creates structure around functions for newly acquired properties (and/or management portfolios) while maintaining current operations and people.
- Monitors and analyzes the performance of independent contractor cleaners, vendors, and property care personnel to ensure agreed terms and conditions and quality of work is properly executed.
- Recruits, leads, trains, and coaches team members.
- Manages location P&L from an expense prospective.
- Resolves escalated guest and property owner situations.
- Audits maintenance and cleanliness of properties.
- Acquires new properties within local territory.
- Serves as emergency call point-of-contact.
- Performs other duties which may be assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager and 2 years of experience in property management or the hospitality industry.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work varied schedule to include weekends, holidays, and on call.
- Must pass background check.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL:
- Activities: Sitting - 80% Walking/Standing - 20%
- Lifting: Ability to push and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Vision: Close up work on computer screen.
- Mental Demands: Problem solve, interpret, and meet deadlines
- Environmental: Climate controlled space.

Salary Description
$60,000 - $65,000
