Operations Manager
To lead with Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of their responsibility. Manage the continuous improvement team working within the scope of their responsibility.
Job description

• Together with operational staff, participate in the definition and implementation of the operational excellence roadmap according to the objectives of the scope
• Propose and manage the allocated budget.
• Lead and support implementation of the Group's operational excellence program and ensure its promotion.
• Advise, train and support operational teams on the facilitation and use of operational excellence tools (Standards, Kaizen toolbox)
• Contribute to the improvement of organizations, procedures and processes.
• Perform maturity assessments on other scopes (coordinator)
• Coordinate the network to establish exchanges and synergies.
• Organize events to cross-reference good practices between the sites in their area of attachment.

• Optional: Manage the team in hierarchical responsibility by managing load/capacity, assisting them in their assignments in order to promote their skills development
• Ensure regular communication on deployment and events related to the SeeD program.
  Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.

Profile and other information related to the position

• Take into account and process QSE alerts reported by staff
• Ensure that his/her team has the necessary skills to occupy their positions (QSE training, qualifications, etc.)
• Support the rise in QSE maturity of his/her sector
• Minimum 8 years' experience in managing implementation of the continuous improvement process
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job
