JOB DESCRIPTION
The SanterMedia team is looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing all aspects & departments of the business. They design & implement company infrastructure to boost productivity & efficiency, while reducing friction and mitigating/preventing day-to-day fires.
The Operations Manager works horizontally across departments to close gaps and ensure seamless workflows across the company. The application code word is EMPOWER. They are also responsible for maintaining the health & alignment of the team. The Operations Manager’s job is to keep the machine running as smoothly as possible, and build the machine necessary to handle future growth with minimum growing pains.
This Operations is a full time remote position work 8:00am to 5:00pm EST office Hours. This is a critical position within the business, as such, we host a rigorous, 4-part application process.
RESPONSIBILITIES (TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE):
- This position will be the second-in-command to the CEO.
- Hire, onboard, and optimize the roles necessary to handle the company scale.
- Responsible for learning & optimizing day-to-day business operations.
- Consistent audit of the company finances and ownership of expenses.
- Build a scalable data collection and display infrastructure.
- Remove stress from the executive team as much as possible.
- Maintains company procedures and builds upon/updates as necessary.
- Create project plans, including what work needs to be done by other team members and the CEO, to bring new products/offers to the market.
- Oversees project status from all other team members on a daily or weekly basis depending on the project.
- Assist the CEO in building & maintaining company Culture and Core Values during the expansion of the leadership team.
- Oversee the payroll & commissions system for the business including any work needed to expand and improve this system to fit upcoming company growth.
REQUIREMENTS (EXPECTED PROFICIENCIES):
- Proven results as an Operations Manager, director of operations, chief of staff, or similar position.
- Mindset & drive -- you hold yourself accountable to the highest standards of performance and are resilient in the face of obstacles or failure.
- Self-starter -- you are comfortable working 100% remotely, managing your schedule, your team, and meeting deadlines without direct supervision.
- Strong manager, and a keen interest to develop this skill set even further.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Highly resourceful and loves learning new things.
- Data-Driven: you are able to analyze data and make critical decisions based on the data collected.
- Experience working within the digital marketing space. Preference is given to candidates with a background working in the fitness industry.
