See Yourself as a Resilience Operations Manager
The Resilience Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and managing the resilience and business continuity programs at Radian to help the organization respond to and recover from incidents. This role is a 24/7 on-call role. There are no direct reports; however, a number of outsourced contracts and outsourced staff may be managed, as required and continuous coordination and collaboration with Resilience team members is necessary. This role requires travel from 10 to 25%.
See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Continuity: Manage and maintain operational rhythm of Radian's business continuity program according to program standards and policy. Mature and keep current the business continuity response standards, policies, or procedures. Conduct Business Impact Analyses and Risk Assessments, and update recovery plans, strategies, and mitigation approaches across Radian's critical business lines. Train employees, Resilience Leaders and Coordinators, and Site Incident Management Teams on their roles in business recovery. Communicate organizational policies and procedures. Conduct and coordinate business continuity exercises and recovery tests, and lead reporting and documentation. Report results of program accomplishments and deficiencies. Mature the resilience program by supporting and implementing additional plans and tools Manage related projects.
- Incident Management: Respond to and support and/or manage incident response. Advise leaders and support resilience decisions during incidents. Communicate status, updates, and actual or potential operational problems. Respond to and support response to security, safety, and business interruption events. Support incident management activities. Support employee safety and preparedness programs. Support as backup to emergency notification system operations. Participate in After Action Reviews of incidents. Consolidate final reporting of incidents. Other related duties, as assigned.
- Physical Security Support: Support the Physical Security Manager in the operation of the Security function. Support the management and monitoring of the physical access control system, company-wide as requested. Support after-hours and other security events/incidents, as needed. Perform badge and access control operations, as needed. Support security awareness training and assessments for Radian sites. Other related duties, as assigned.

Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:
- Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Work Experience: 6 or more years of prior work experience
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge and skills with business continuity (business impact analyses, risk assessments, plan development, training/exercise), emergency management, conducting training, IT disaster recovery, and incident management.
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office suite (including Excel and Power Point), presentation, ability to multitask, and maintain a positive and helpful attitude
- Preferred: Corporate business continuity planning, training, risk management and mitigation, and operational activation experience preferred
Your Preferred Education Level:
- Master's in related field preferred
Your Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience:
- 2+ years corporate business continuity experience preferred
Other Qualifications, including any special skills, capabilities, and competencies:
- ABCP, CBCP, MBCI, APP, PSP, CPP, AEM, CEM, or equivalent preferred
