As the Operations Manager, this position manages operational activities within a more complex and/or larger operational section ensuring provision of quality, timely and accurate service and compliance with established internal guidelines and external regulations. This position is accountable for the oversight of offshore teams and is responsible for consumer account transactions, general ledger transactions, maintenance, and account records.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Ensure activities of assigned area are completed timely and accurately within the defined service levels.
• Ensure timely and accurate resolution of internal and external customer inquiries, escalating as appropriate.
• Ensure activities are performed within regulatory requirements.
• Manage activities within a more complex and/or larger section; Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices. Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
• Ensure coordination of activities with other areas of the Department and Company as appropriate. Lead and develop an effective Offshore team through communication, performance management, development plans and recognition practices.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
• Develop a multi-skilled, productive, and proactive workforce. Improve team performance via regular check-in and timely coaching.
• Develop effective teamwork both within the department and with Line of Business and Develop partnerships and collaborate across lines of business.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $74,900 and $112,400.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Regulation Z and Servicemember Civil Relief Act
• Experience in Back Office/ Account Servicing Operations and with General Ledger transactions
• Ability to conduct a reasonable investigation
• Excellent research and communication skills, Sound judgment and keen sense of urgency
• Ability to lead projects relating to process improvements
• Ability to work professionally with all levels of staff and Management
• Meet production and target goals dates as applicable
• Experience with oversight and leadership of teams located
