Anniston Operations Manager – Industrial Distribution
Company Overview
Military & Commercial Fasteners Corp is looking for individuals with values, skills, and commitment to service that will help our team pursue our goal. Our core purpose is the personal and professional success of those we serve. It’s a big list that includes our employees, our families, our customers, our suppliers, and our community. Our ability to solve problems and execute solutions in a high demand, high pace environment defines our success.
We are a privately owned small business headquartered in York, PA. Our core business is industrial manufacturing. We are a distributor and a maker of parts used to build OEM equipment. We also kit and package those goods, operate a precision metal cutting CNC shop, and provide 3rd party logistics management services to our customers.
The company celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022 and we continue to experience significant growth in 2024. Our team is currently 100+ employees and growing. Since 2018, we have doubled in size while maintaining our key focus of accepting our customers’ most demanding challenges and solving them when others say “No”.
Ideal Candidate
We are always looking for a passionate individual that knows how to take action and embrace responsibility. The Anniston operation is a new facility startup that demands a strong leader with a diverse skillset. Our most successful leaders are adaptive, resilient, and welcome all feedback. This role requires a seasoned ability to build strong relationships within our organization as well as with our customers. A natural tendency for developing the talent and capability of people on their team is essential. We will first prioritize candidates with the character and personality that best fits our culture and team. Experience in industrial distribution, warehouse operations and light assembly will be prerequisite for consideration of this position. A working knowledge of quality management systems like ISO 9000 and AS9100, with demonstratable comprehension of technical matters is a plus.
As a small business entity, we often find that a willingness to wear different hats in the organization is required. A hands-on approach to leadership and achieving goals will differentiate a successful candidate. A pure delegator will not succeed in this role. As a new startup operation, being hands on is a must. If you enjoy the opportunity to deal directly with customers, impact their satisfaction, and support the growth of a regional distribution center we would like to have a conversation.
