We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to join our Landscape Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operations Management, Project Management, Residential Landscape, Budget Management, Project Cost Management, and Construction Management.
Responsibilities:
As an Operations Manager, you will:
1. Oversee the planning and execution of all construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Develop and implement project management processes and procedures, including scheduling, budgeting, cost management, and risk management.
4. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.
5. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
6. Manage resources effectively to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
8. Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
9. Provide regular reports on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Operations Manager position will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Operations Management, Project Management, Residential Landscape, Budget Management, Project Cost Management, and Construction Management.
2. Proven experience in managing large scale construction projects from conception to completion.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
5. Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost management.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
10. A professional certification in Project Management or Construction Management would be an advantage.
