Operations Assistant - Coffee Roastery
Specialty Coffee Roaster seeks Operations Assistant. The primary duties consist of processing and packaging web orders and preparing weekly wholesale orders. Other tasks include making single-serve capsules, flavoring coffee, maintaining inventory and assisting as needed with general roastery operations and maintenance.
Experience is not required, but background in packaging/fulfillment is helpful, as is experience in the coffee industry. On-the-job training will be provided.
Applicant must be detail-oriented, meticulous and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills are necessary for printing orders, postage and labels. Moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs.) is required. Reliable transportation is an absolute must.
The work schedule is somewhat flexible and will consist of 4-5 weekday morning shifts per week for a total of 16-19 hours.
This is an entry-level position in a small and rapidly growing company with opportunities for advancement.
