WHAT WE OFFER
Covestro LLC's Baytown, TX, office seeks an Operational Technology "OT" Specialist to be responsible for the configuration, administration, security, and lifecycle planning for the PCT IT/OT environment (network, firewalls, clients, etc.).
Duties include:
(i) Process Control Network Architecture, including Operational Technology Demilitarized Zone (OT DMZ);
(ii) Cybersecurity practices and ensuring compliance with corporate standards;
(iii) Front and Back Area Firewall Rules; (iv) planning and coordinating Lifecycle of PCT/OT DMZ operating systems and equipment to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure data quality and backups;
(v) collaborating with production, PCT, Global OT Security and IT to identify improvement potential and execute improvement projects;
(vi) managing OT DMZ operating system patching and antivirus;
(vii) supporting Lifecycle Upgrades of OT DMZ equipment and software solutions; and (viii) overseeing backups of OT Systems (DMZ, DCS, PLC).
WHAT YOU OFFER
Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science or a directly related field plus six (6) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.
Must also have any experience with or knowledge of:
(i) DCS, HIMA SIS, PLCs & SCADA;
(ii) Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance in PCT Environments); (iii) Virtual environments (VSphere, HyperV);
and (iv) ICS/OT fundamentals (networking & communication protocols) and ICS security (AV, Firewalls, Cisco switches, etc.).
Must be able and willing to travel domestically to various unanticipated employer and client locations to provide technical support up to 20%.
Experience can be concurrent.
