SUMMARY
The Director of Operational Excellence will manage high impact operational projects and initiatives for U.S. Renal Care. This role will act as a strategic business partner to drive performance improvement within field operations and the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Direct projects that have impact to dialysis operations workflows within facilities.
- Involvement and leadership within central operational initiatives, including both operational improvement and/or launch of new workflows.
- Provide feedback, training and guidance on the functionality and efficiencies within facility facing applications and systems.
- Provide regular feedback, support and leadership regarding site-level performance in critical areas such as Profit and Loss (P&L), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), company policy and procedure adherence, and client and employee satisfaction.
- Serve as an effective business partner to multi-site clients working in conjunction with peers to achieve mutual goals.
- Deliver training to field operations on new/revised workflows, in partnership with Clinical Services. Continuously identify opportunities to drive efficiencies in facilities
- - improving quality/consistency of care and driving down cost of care.
- Maintains effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees.
- Upholds management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
- Recruits, trains, develops, and supervises personnel.
- Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in business or nursing is required. Combination of education, specialty certifications and experience in related area will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Three (3) plus years of prior management experience for a multi-site health care provider or five (5) plus years of demonstrated excellence in managing a dialysis center as an Administrator.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong public relations skills for dealing with physicians, vendors, hospital personnel, Managed Care Organizations, etc. are valuable.
- Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
