Job Title: Operational Services Scheduler – Landscape/Maintenance

Job Summary:
The Operational Services Scheduler plays a crucial role at The Villages Golf and Country Club, focusing on the coordination and management of work orders to ensure efficient landscape and maintenance enhancements and activities coordinating and managing the work order processes from initiation to close out, including the scheduling appropriate personnel to assist with special events. This position requires collaboration with various divisions/departments and must effectively manage juggling resources. The position requires commitment to maintaining high standards of operational fluidity. The Operational Services Schedular interfaces with Villagers and their guests addressing timely requests for repairs, maintenance and project needs.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Common Responsibilities for Landscape and Maintenance Scheduler:
- Coordinate work orders and manage schedules, including progress reports.
- Communicate with Villagers, Department and other employees to ensure transparency of schedules and operations.
- Assign actions and adjust to changes in maintenance schedules to maintain operational efficiency.
- Manage resources effectively, including staff, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate scheduling for special events and activities.
- Monitor adherence to schedules and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of efficiency reports and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to effectively work in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
Landscape Scheduler-Specific Responsibilities:
- Specialize in the management of landscape-related work orders, including the maintenance and enhancement of green spaces.
- Coordinate with landscape teams to ensure timely execution of landscaping projects and maintenance.
Maintenance Scheduler-Specific Responsibilities:
- Focus on the scheduling and coordination of maintenance work orders, ensuring the upkeep and repair of facilities and infrastructure.
- Work closely with maintenance staff to prioritize and schedule repair tasks and routine maintenance activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and the management of multiple schedules.
- Familiarity with Operational Services management practices and repair processes.
- Keen attention to detail for accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
- Capability to collaborate with teams across functions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a scheduling role, preferably within Operational Services or hospitality.
- Bachelor's degree in Operational Services Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Work Environment:
- The role involves navigating various areas of The Villages Golf and Country Club, both indoor and outdoor, requiring mobility and the ability to inspect facilities and landscapes.
· Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job, including manual dexterity and clear vision for operating scheduling software and inspecting work areas.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
