POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Information Technology Technician, you will maintain the reliability and functionality of in-house (factory floor and administrative) computer hardware and software systems. You will be responsible for the coordination of deployment, installation, upgrade, and de-installation of desktop hardware and software. You'll provide plant floor systems related support while resolving user's requests related to computer hardware and software issues. You will also provide low-level plant floor systems related support.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, performance tune, administer and troubleshoot all in-house computer related hardware and software.
  • Comply with company data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, security, and authorization policies.
  • Contribute analytical and technical expertise regarding in-house computer related hardware and plant/business information technology.
  • Promote cost effective, high-performance computer technology that will provide continuous improvement to productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage projects to ensure desired results, including on-time completion and within budget. Maintain accurate inventory of computer related hardware and software assets.
  • Provide analytical, technical and developmental expertise and support for existing and future plant computer related hardware, plant floor data collection systems and business information systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting and formulate corrective actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related information systems/information technology experience

OR
  • A 2-year technical degree

The approximate pay range for this position is $54,000 to $69,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
