Job Title: School Contract Social Worker

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: Full-time (Now until the end of the school year)

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Contract Social Worker to join our team in Lansing, MI. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being and success of students throughout the school year. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments to identify and address students' social and emotional needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies.
• Providing individual and group counseling to students as needed.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop comprehensive plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois State Licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
