Abou he Depar men :
he Depar men of Informa ion Sciences and echnology (IS ) has 45 full- ime facul y members wi h diverse areas of research focus including cybersecuri y, da a mining and machine learning, na ural language processing, human-cen ered compu ing, ubiqui ous and mobile compu ing, cyber-physical sys ems, and engineering educa ion. IS has he larges and fas es -growing undergradua e major in he universi y, he ABE -accredi ed and CAE-CD valida ed BS in Informa ion echnology, serving abou 2,000 s uden s. Addi ionally, he depar men has abou 150 gradua e s uden s in he MS in Applied Informa ion echnology (AI ) program and 180 s uden s in he MS in Informa ion Sys ems program. he online MS programs in I ranked 35 h among public universi ies and 50 h overall by U.S. News and World. In addi ion o BS and MS programs, he depar men also par icipa es in an in erdisciplinary Digi al Media and Web Design Minor, MS program in Da a Analy ics Engineering, and a PhD program in Informa ion echnology (concen ra ion in IS ) offered by he College of Engineering and Compu ing.
