Job Description
Our client has an immediate need to add a Desktop/End User Compute IT support person to their onsite Team.
This resource will be the primary resource working with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager within Intune. "MECM"
MECM/WSUS/Patching Support for EUC:
- Maintain legacy 2008 WSUS server
- Includes providing Monthly patches to workstations
- Support of workstations being migrated to MECM
- Working with MECM team on patching issues that arise from EUC
- Provide EUC with updates/tools related to MECM and patching (e.g. – portqueryui.exe, information on large changes about to happen, etc.).
- Identify issues to MECM team found by EUC
- Provide specifically requested information from tools (e.g. – Carbon Black, Eracent, MECM, etc.).
- Provide support to project managers
- work with EUC teams to help identify ownership/availability
- work through specific system issues (e.g. – reviewing logs from a machine that is clearly up and working, as seen in Carbon Black and Eracent, but not communicating with MECM).
- Provide alternative solutions to issues with machines needed for Audit (i.e. – roadblock busting)
- Security Support for EUC:
- Monitor and communicate issues identified by Security teams (Carbon Black, MECM, primarily) that affect Workstations and/or that need to be known by EUC.
- Pass information to security groups as they arise from EUC
- Follow-up on Carbon Black Installs which were supposed to be made on multiple devices (workstations and others).

We have hundreds of team members across the US who work Onsite at customer locations - providing hardware break/fix services, migrate data, install computers, move printers, install/fix servers and POS systems.
