Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates onboarding process such as background checks and occupational health requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of new hire pre-employment, to include background checks, secondary checks, health screenings and other requirements needed.
- Accurately creates and manages new employee personnel files.
- Responsible for requesting and ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and filed appropriately in the employee folder.
- Responsible for data entry of new hires in HR system.
- Serves as a dependable point of contact for candidates and hiring managers for candidate status.
- Available by phone and email to provide assistance as needed.
- Builds and fosters relationships with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, employees, applicants, and client contacts to ensure a positive Onboarding Experience.
- Provide general administrative support to Talent Acquisition team.
- Assists with special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years related experience in new hire onboarding processes
- 2+ years related experience with occupational health related onboarding
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Previous applicant tracking system experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism under any situation is critical.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to follow through in an organized and effective way
- Ability to effectively communicate with all parties inside and outside of the organization.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with proven superior time management skills
- Proactive team player with strong work ethic.
- Remote and Hybrid positions require a home internet connection that meets the company’s upload and download speed criteria.
