Position Summary: Pharmacy Assistant license required. We will help obtain your Assistant License on the date of hire. We are seeking a motivated pharmacy assistant to play a vital role in helping licensed pharmacists with the administrative duties required in running a pharmacy. This position will primarily prepare shipments, enter computer prescription orders, answer incoming phone calls, and perform other clerical tasks to get their medication as quickly as possible.
Position Responsibilities: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Prepares shipments with USPS, FedEx, and UPS
- Incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Accepting patient payments
- Files and retrieves various pharmacy records, including prescriptions, compounded drug formulation worksheets, and invoices
- Prepares empty prescription containers (bags and vials) by adhering to address, patient labels, and inserts for prescriptions
- Maintains and cleans assigned work areas and equipment as designated by supervisor
- Other tasks as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- Must have or be in the process of obtaining a Pharmacy Assistant license from the state of WA
- Impeccable attention to detail

Pharmacy Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 p.m.
