Job description

A direct sales firm in Greensboro, North Carolina, seeks an experienced individual to manage the primary office. Granville Urns, a family business, manufactures luxury, handmade urns in Italy that are sold through funeral homes. A fast-growing company that personalizes and overnights products to clients nationally and internationally. We pride ourselves in the exceptional quality of our products and the outstanding service we provide to our clients. The Office Manager will be responsible for all processing, engraving, and shipping orders, light customer service, and office operations. Manage customer support calls promptly and professionally, as well as invoicing and inventory. Responsible for maintaining shipping and office supplies. Other responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:

Responsibilities:

- Handle incoming orders from funeral homes and public inquiries in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

- Manage the inventory of urns and supplies stored in the office, making sure all items are accounted for.

- Handle the shipping and engraving of urns to funeral homes on a timely basis based on the requirements of each order.

- Manage the data entry for sales invoices, accounts receivable, inventory management and cash disbursements.

- Assist with Client Relationship Management system with respect to funeral home clients.

- Maintain accurate documentation and filing in electronic document storage system.

- Assist with unpacking incoming shipments of product from Europe.

Qualifications:

- Ideal candidate would have 7-10 years of experience working in an office environment.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.

- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

- Well organized, self-starter, highly motivated, proactive, and responsible.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, funeral homes, and business associates.

- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and supporting the design, sales, and marketing functions.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Other:

- Compensation commensurate with experience.

- Full time, onsite with flexible work hours.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
